(Eagle Mountain Casino, Porterville, Ca 93257) – 200 Turkeys were donated to the Salvation Army in Tulare on this morning.

Eagle Mountain Casino continued its Season of giving by providing 200 Turkeys to the Salvation Army of Tulare today. The turkeys were donated with the help of Sysco and will be distributed with the Salvation Army’s annual Thanksgiving Holiday food boxes on Tuesday. Families in need will be given a food box filled with items for a complete Thanksgiving dinner and will include the most important dish, the Turkey. Volunteers will begin packing boxes with canned cranberry, stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans, corn, yams and a bag of marshmallows. Families who applied for a food box and meet the low income guidelines, will receive their box of food on Tuesday the 21.

The Salvation Army will serve 300 families in Tulare and Allensworth this Thanksgiving. The charitable organization in Tulare receives approximately 300 requests from families in need each month and offers food boxes to assist them with meal preparation for their families.
