Oven Fried Chicken

  • 4 Chicken Quarters
  • 2 cups of flour
  • 1 stick of butter melted
  • 1 tbsp Kosher salt
  • 1 tbsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Granulated Garlic
  • 1 tbsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tbsp Italian Seasoning
  • 1 tbsp Ground Thyme
  • Non stick spray

Heat oven to 400 degrees.  Place the flour and seasonings in a large bowl and mix well to combine.  Toss chicken in the seasoned flour mixture.  If the flour mixture is not sticking, you can spray the chicken with non-stick spray. Spray the bottom of a baking dish or cookie sheet with non stick spray.  Place the chicken pieces in your baking dish and place in hot oven.  Bake for 20-30 minutes or until internal temperature of chicken is 165 degrees and the tops are crispy.  Halfway through the cooking drizzle the chicken with the melted butter to give it that shiny look.
