Warden is also a local leader for Leadership Porterville, an organization that assists the further development of existing and emerging community leaders. For over 25 years, Leadership Porterville has inspired, developed, and connected these leaders to be more involved in the Porterville area.Born and raised in Porterville, CA, Warden has worked for four years at Eagle Mountain Casino and said he was given the opportunity by Casino management to join Leadership Porterville. Before his role at Eagle Mountain Casino, Warden was the Assistant Chef at River Island Country Club, Lab Manager at Global Drug Testing and Denele Analytical. Warden, a member of the Visalia Chamber of Commerce, was also a small business owner and a business associate when they acquired Maverick’s Coffee Company in Visalia, where he acted as General Manager.“Due to this opportunity, I have been given the tools to be more involved with my city. As for myself, because of it, I got on to Academy Hospitality Pathway, which is one of the school programs, and I sit there as one of the board members along with the Porterville Shelter Workshop, which is an organization that helps people with special needs and assists with finding work and have a place to go to for help”, said Warden.Warden is also an ambassador with the Porterville Chamber and plans to be involved with a local school district.“I always make sure that the casino comes first, but I am also lucky that the casino supports this as they encourage their team members to go out and positively represent the community, and they are flexible with my schedule to be able to help the community on behalf of them,” said Warden.Warden and members of Leadership Porterville held a fundraiser recently for the local fallen firefighters that passed away during the Porterville Library fire and raised money for the families to head out East to be part of a memorial with other families that had lost family members that were firefighters as well.Eagle Mountain Casino provided the opportunity for Warden to be a part of the Leadership Porterville organization, and with the casino’s relocation this late Fall, there is a lot to be excited about.“I am incredibly excited as the casino relocation will be great for the community, as the city of Porterville will thrive because of it. They will enjoy an amazing casino, and local businesses will benefit from the casino’s relocation as well, and it will create such a great opportunity for everyone”, Warden said. For more information on Leadership Porterville, visit their website at www.leadershipporterville.org.Currently, Eagle Mountain Casino is located 17 miles east of Porterville and is a full-service casino owned and operated by the Tule River Tribe.
