In January, Eagle Award recipients were recognized for expressing 7 core values of the Eagle Awards program during the month of December. The core values are honesty, respect, empowerment, appreciation, friendliness, teamwork and there is an overall quality value as well.
Priscilla Narvaiz was nominated for honesty, Angela Marshall, respect, Adrian Ramos, empowerment, Roy Williams, appreciation, Edward Gomez, friendliness, Michael Smith teamwork and the overall quality award went to Julius Malone. All of these team members demonstrated an admirable value during their shift, which was noticed and appreciated by the person they assisted.
Adrian Ramos was nominated by his co-workers after he created a computerized datasheet for his entire department that could be used for the tracking and inputting of important guest information. The lengthy process for creating the spreadsheet was done from scratch using excel. Adrian’s initiative has allowed for a more useful system to keep track of guests’ information while being efficient.
Roger Husted was nominated by a fellow co-worker for purchasing toys for the Tule River Toy drive that was held on the Reservation, for families in need of Christmas toys. His generosity and kindness earned him the overall Quality Service award.
