“It’s an exciting time to celebrate local athletes and fight fans,” stated Jeremy Luchau, CEO of 559 Fights. “Following a sold-out show in June, we’re thrilled to return to ‘the place to be’ for another installment of Pro/Am MMA. Fans can expect nothing but the best as we continue to grow combat sports in the Central Valley.”
Tickets for this thrilling October 19 event will be available for purchase starting August 13th for Tule River Tribal Members, August 14th for Legacy Rewards VIP and August 15th to the general public. Tickets will soon be available to purchase at www.eaglemtncasino.com/entertainment
Adding to the excitement, a significant announcement looms—a six-fight exclusive agreement between 559 Fights and Eagle Mountain Casino promises to deliver top-tier MMA action heading into 2026.
“Our first show with 559 Fights proved that they are the standard for MMA shows here in the Central Valley, the state, and even the nation. We are the place to be for Casino guests and now the place to be for MMA fans,” declared Shine Nieto, Chairman of The Tule River Tribe. “Eagle Mountain Casino and the Tule River Tribe want to provide aspiring athletes a home for an opportunity to shine. We want to be the place to be for the biggest fights and the most elite fighters. One day you will see a fighter that stepped in the cage at EMC under the even brighter lights at the UFC. That’s our goal with this deal, and our team is ready for it and ready to wow all of our fans.”
Eagle Mountain Casino has been a steadfast supporter of local MMA, offering an essential platform for emerging fighters. Luchau emphasized the power of collaboration, noting, “Achieving greatness requires strong leadership and strategic partnerships. It’s been a privilege to work alongside Chairman Nieto and the dedicated team at Eagle Mountain Casino to build a bright future for MMA in the region.”
The upcoming event, 559 Fights 118, will feature seven professional bouts with fan favorites such as Christian Avalos, along with the much-anticipated return of Porterville’s own Shane Christie. A noteworthy highlight includes a surprise guest host from the UFC, to be unveiled in the coming weeks. Following the success of previous UFC appearances by stars like Brandon Moreno and Alexa Grasso, this event promises to further connect local fans with world-class talent from the UFC.
Looking forward, 559 Fights and Eagle Mountain Casino are eager to announce more fight dates, with action set to commence in the first quarter of 2026. This partnership represents a new era of elevating MMA’s presence in the Central Valley, promising unforgettable experiences for both fighters and enthusiasts.
