Tule River Tribe Presents Veterans Pow Wow at Eagle Mountain Casino November 10th- 12th

Veterans will be celebrated this November at Eagle Mountain Casino with a variety of events including the Tule River Veterans Pow Wow that will take place on Veteran’s Day November 10th and continue November 11th and 12th, 2023.
 
Grand Entries for the 2023 Tule River Veterans Pow Wow are Friday November 10th at 7pm, Saturday November 11th at 1pm and 7pm. On Sunday the Grand Entry is scheduled for 1pm.
 
The 2023 Tule River Tribe Veterans Pow Wow will feature a Northern and Southern Drum Contest with prizes for 1st place $5,000, 2nd place $3,000, and 3rd place $1,000.
 
Specials will include 18+ Women’s Jingle Dance Special, Men’s Grass Dance Special, Northern Traditional Special, Old-Style Fancy vs. Old Style Jingle, All Teen Girls Special, Hand Drum Contest and Men’s Chicken Special. All specials have 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes with cash for winners and more.
 
A Dance Contest will also be held with a variety of men’s, women’s, teen boys and girls, plus Jr. boys and girl’s categories. Prizes for this event are listed for each dance competition. In the men’s and women’s division prizes are 1st place $800, 2nd place $600, and 3rd place $400. Prizes for the teen boys and girl’s categories are 1st place $500, 2nd place $400, and 3rd place $300. The Jr. boys and girl’s category prizes are $300 1st place, $200 2nd place and $100 3rd place.
 
Camping will be available on site at the Tule River Veterans Pow Wow. The event is open to the public and will be presented indoors at the Eagle Mountain Casino Event Center. For more information, please email powwow@trtgc.com
